iPhoto’s Trash – Bastion of Wasted Disk Space
Macworld with some great advice to free up some disk space: empty iPhoto’s trash. When you delete a photo from iPhoto, it isn’t completely deleted. Rather, much like the Finder, the photo is moved to the Trash section in the side bar. Right click on the Trash section and select Empty Trash from the contextual menu (it’s the only option). I always knew about this but it’s a good reminder. I just cleared out my trash and gained an extra GB of disk space back. Thanks!
