Jailbreak Your Second Generation iPod Touch

TUAW: You can now jailbreak your 2G iPod Touch. However, there is a serious caveat:

unless you are perfectly comfortable with using buggy development tools, installing some extra libraries and interacting in DFU mode, you really shouldn’t be attempting to jailbreak your device.

Since I can understand scarcely half of that sentence, I’m going to hold off for now. My hope is that this development means that there is a GUI version just around the corner. If you decide to go through with it, let me know how it goes. This is something that I’m definitely keeping an eye on. Check out the Dev-Team Blog for more info.
